It is critical to regularly check the electrolyte levels in your vehicle’s battery.  It is also good to understand when your electrolyte levels are low.  Usually the fluid level should sit around 1cm above the plates.  If lower than that your battery may need topping up.  This should be done with distilled water. Higher engine bay temperatures put a lot of heat into battery. Acid does not evaporate. Only water will evaporate. When water level drops, concentrations of acid become higher causing premature plate erosion and sulphation.

Increasing globe wattage in late model car and trucks should be avoided. Cable diameter and current capabilities restrict options from a OEM rated globe. Not to mention damage that can be caused to plastic reflectors. We can in some cases fit aftermarket LED or HID kits, depending on light and reflector design.
